It's the time of year when we head out to be with family and friends. But it can also cause heartache, and anxiety for many. Spending time with everyone, but for other's it could be being alone. What are some ways we can help ourselves.
Essential Oils can be a great way to help our mind, body and soul, as well as our spiritual needs. Specific essential oils can be used oils for stress, anxiety, overeating and fatigue. So lets look at just some of the ways we can use incredible Essential Oils.
First off you want to ensure that they are of excellent quality - as previous mentioned in different Blogs, many are not 100% pure in every drop. I personally only use Doterra Essential Oils, as the are Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade (CPTG).
You also want to pace yourself, and try to give yourself time to balance out your routine for these days. Kids may be home, family in and out, gift wrapping, cooking. Take time out for yourself, or just plan a great vacation when this is all over (don't we wish). Find what you can do, if its meditation, Yoga, reading, or Journaling. Your personal time-out.
Here are a few Essential Oils that may help you out during the season..
Geranium: For times when you feel stress, anxiety and depression, a great essential oil you can rely on is geranium. It can uplift the spirit, calm anxiety and relieve nervous tension.
There are three ways you can use the oil. You can diffuse, inhale or apply it directly on the skin.
Bergamot: This oil can make you feel more confident. It promotes self-love and self-acceptance. If you are feeling worthless and inadequate, this oil can help you get through these emotions. You can use it with a diffuser or apply it directly on the skin.
Rosemary: It can fight fatigue, burn out and inability to concentrate.
Vetiver: Is an essential oil that has a rich, grounding fragrance that can help you feel more awake, calm, and balanced. Can add it to a diffuser - a few drops are great or make a blend with Cedarwood and Frankincense - 2-3 drops of each and carry it around in a roller bottle.
Digest Zen:(Zengest) comes in the Oil or Capsules. Overeating, stomach issues, heartburn, can put a few drops and rub into the stomach area - or my personal use I like the Capsules - with 3-5 minutes the feelings disappear.
